thank the gods!

I finally have a job! Okay, so it may only be a christmas temp job, but its a start. Plus I am totally in my comfort zone working around games.
I had my first day today. It feels good to be finally doing something with myself.
I also took the plunge this week and got my hair cut. It needed a total re-do after a past hairdresser cut a giant chunk of it out so its been several different odd lengths since :/ I now have a bob with a short frindge... I'm still getting used to it. I dyed it black too. I think that helps.

I'm such a busy bee at the moment.
I am very excited as I have a trial night in a bar in town tomorrow night, and they basically said on the spot that they can offer me full time or part time work and that I'd be a great fit for their team (yes oh yes!). So Let's hope that goes well.

I've also got an interview with HMV tomorrow. Which I reckon will be good, as I am obsessed with music anyway. But I will have to hold back all of my OCD instincts and not comment on the downfalls of their categorising system... (fallout boy in metal?!)

I also need to book a haircut. I kind of want a choppy frindge, I'm bored of swept long frindge. I've been looking at these as inspiration:

I always get worried on deciding a frindge, as I'm always nervous I won't be able to carry it off. But, you only live once and it will grow out. I also need to bite the bullet, and get all of my long/dead hair chopped off. Its all different lengths so it doesn't look as full as it should, so I guess I should start over, even if its a painful thought as my hair takes FOREVER to grow (any tips?).

So I've gone for a good couple of months without so much as a sniff from any places I've given my CV to. And now, as it always happens, I've got three possible opportunities coming up (thank god). I have an interview on Thursday and I'm waiting on a call back for a second interview. I've also had an approved application somewhere else. Let's hope that one of these actually leads somewhere...

Life begins at twenty...

As you can guess by the title, I have just turned twenty. And to go with the transition out of my teens, I have had a complete personal overhaul. Bags of things are gone, new rules in place, new philosophies and new independent thoughts. I'm taking a "year out" of education to sort myself out and clear my head. But like everyone else right now, I'm struggling to get a job. Plus I don't know what I want to do in life when everybody else seems to. So I'm pretty much in limbo right now. That's how I see it anyway. I just seem to be stuck. Not moving.

Anyway, I'm going to leave you guys lots of pictures and general nice things to look at on my posts. I hope you enjoy.
